I give permission for my tattoo artist to publish and use photos taken of my tattoo for various purposes. (Photos may be published and used, for example, on social media, in newsletters, on website, and in other marketing materials.)

I do not give permission for the photos to be used for any purpose and I will inform my tattoo artist of this.

I want to join the weekly newsletter list. (The weekly newsletter arrives about once a week. It shares inspiration, thoughts, tips, as well as occasional exclusive offers and advance information about campaigns, new designs, and tattoo appointment times.) NOTE: The newsletter is only in Finnish at the moment.

I understand that a tattoo is a permanent change to my appearance.

I assure that I am over 18 years old.

I assure that getting a tattoo is my own choice and that no one has forced or pressured me into it.

I understand that the tattoo artist does not refund payments for tattoos or other related products.

I have no skin health issues that would affect the tattooing process. (Such issues may include acne, scars, atopic dermatitis, allergic eczema, psoriasis, rashes, or sunburned skin.)

I do not have hemophilia.

I do not have diabetes or epilepsy. If I do, I have consulted a doctor about getting a tattoo with my condition.

I do not have hepatitis, HIV, AIDS, or any other contagious disease.

I am not pregnant or breastfeeding.

I will inform my tattoo artist if I have any health issues that could affect the tattooing process or the healing process. (Such issues may include the previously mentioned conditions.)

I am not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

I understand that my tattoo artist cannot know if I am allergic to the pigments in tattoo inks and I accept the risk of a possible allergic reaction.

I understand that in cases where my skin bleeds excessively or swells significantly, I cannot stay still, I feel unwell or faint, the tattooing process may need to be interrupted.

I understand that there is always a risk of infection when getting a tattoo, although it is small.

I promise to follow aftercare instructions to minimize the risk of infection and to ensure my tattoo heals as well as possible.

I understand that tattoos are hand-crafted and may slightly differ from the image seen on paper or screen.

I assure that in cases where I want a word or phrase in a language that neither I nor my tattoo artist knows, I am responsible for ensuring that the word or phrase is correctly written and has the correct meaning.

I assure that in cases where I want a symbol or an image symbolizing something, I am responsible for ensuring what the symbol or image means.

I understand that the brightness and shade of tattoo inks can vary on different skin tones.

I understand that over time the shade and sharpness of my tattoo may change.

I understand that my tattoo artist cannot guarantee how tattoos will heal on the following areas of my body: fingers, palms, ears and behind the ears, toes, tops and soles of the feet, elbows, and knees. If touch-ups are needed on tattoos in these areas, I will pay the cost of materials (€50).

I understand that if I neglect aftercare instructions and my tattoo requires touch-ups, I will pay the cost of materials (€50).

I understand that various skin procedures after getting a tattoo may affect the appearance of my tattoo. (Such procedures may include laser hair removal, plastic surgery, or other skin-related procedures.)
